Formatting

The original website had some good things about it but really needed to be finessed and find a consistent visual brand. The typography had some clear issues and had too many typefaces thrown in. The format was crowded and not mobile-friendly by any means. It also wasn't a responsive website so it looked very square and out of place for a computer screen.

Texture

Instead of having texture, I went with something more modern in having some wood texture. I changed the logo to the Texas star since the star was a shape that was repeated in the interior design of the imagery.

 

Iconography

I used iconography of flourishes with flowers because there were some flowers in the background of the original site and I thought that could be something to build off of but with a more delicate tone since this was a bed and breakfast.
